Forgive me for being stupid, but does it matter from which side you solder the wires? Some seem to come from underneath and solder on the front (the one with the visible POT/Speaker pads) whilst others go through this side and solder underneath.
Thanks

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost) SOLD OUT
"Octagonal GND connects to the GND pin of the PowerBoost." Does it need to go to that pin on the powerboost? I only ask as on Helder's AIO diagram, it has the powerstrip on the AIO going from GND on the powerboost to GND IN on the powerstrip. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/197017091352690688...

Helders AIO and Tactile Switches
Regarding 4 pin tactile switches, is there an obvious marking on the switch to tell which one is for Ground and which one has to be connected to the AIO? Also noticed a couple of variations. Some seem to wire the ground for each to the AIO and Wermy's video shows the two connected together (but I do...

Re: Wiring Diagram
Not sure if you went with this in the end, but noticed the screen is connected to the Pi for power. Might be worth using the powerstrip for that instead.

RIN LIN LOUT ROUT GND Thanks in advance! Update: In the end the cables were going to be that short that I just use...

Re: USB ports
Thanks for the replies and votes all. I did struggle to find a spot on the outside where i could put a 2nd port without eating into the battery compartment, so will be sticking with just the one

USB ports
Just a simple poll really. How many usb ports do you have or plan to put on your builds? If 1 will you just swap the mouse and keyboard as needed (assuming retropie recognises plug and play/swapping). Cheers!

Re: Keeping battery compartment intact
Thanks for all the replies. As I want to save my eyes and plug the gameboy into a monitor for when I have to edit text, I'll need to keep the hdmi port accessible.
Guess that means the compartment has to stay
