Re: Possible Adafruit screen issue
I've never used an Adafruit screen before but the first two things I'd check would be one the ribbon remains securely seated and two use a Multimeter to verify you're getting 5v to the screen board. The plastic bar breaking shouldn't be a big deal, I've had them pop off before but still snap back in...

Re: Sword WIFI Issue
I ran into this issue as well with my CS from last round, I just got it put together tonight, WIFI was working like a champ, did my configuration and copied some stuff over, it seemed like it froze up, I don't know exactly was i was up stairs, the UI wasn't responding and after a reboot my wifi was ...

Re: My finished Gaboze Pocaio Round 2
It would give me a worth while reason to get a hit air rework station. My one regret when I ordered the boards was not getting a stencil. At the time though, I didn't have a hot air station, only a cruddy soldering iron. Since then I bought a 898D station that Wermy recommended in his video and man...

Re: My finished Gaboze Pocaio Round 2
The SMDs weren't to bad about $20 shipped from Digikey, screen was about $15, battery was about $10. It does add up pretty quick though with everything and mainly you are playing the waiting game for all of the parts. I've got a few other projects to work on but I do think I'd like to try populatin...

Re: My finished Gaboze Pocaio Round 2
I remember the original populated board was $60 plus case, buttons etc. I dont think those are available anymore but there are blank round one and round two boards available on ebay so one could do the populating themselves. I have no idea what the individual parts cost though.

Re: PocketPi FE Pre Pre-Order Preparation
My 3 boys have CS-lite builds running off of 3500mah batteries that fit nicely in the full size DMG battery compartment, they easy get 6+ hours of play time, I tend to recharge theirs more frequently as they are younger and less apt to pay attention to a shrinking green bar. It isnt an exact compari...

Re: PocketPi FE Pre Pre-Order Preparation
Rodocop, thanks for the reply. That's really unfortunate to hear. I would love to do the work myself, only I don't have the tools as I'm away for university. I definitely want a GBP model. But I am starting to get the feeling that communication with Galaxy Gaming is not the greatest. The website is...

Re: Technical problems need help.
Double check your ribbon connection as well. Also if you didn't, I'd go thru the setup on Kite's wiki.
