The audio issues has something to do with the way you setup the low pass filter, audio amp, potentiometer, & speaker i guess.

Here's mine, i followed b: Power and the low pass filter on the left side of the audio amp.

Very loud and clear for me.

You just have to re-seat again yours. Be careful with the thin plastic that locks the ribbon.

So i've taken apart the BW screen from Amazon and converted it to run off of 5v and after getting it glued into place the screen displays a white image.
