I would like to see how you set up the LED on top of your cartridge, is it taking a lot of space? I would like to try with a super tiny (maximal trimming) Pi3 and fit it there.

Rule #1: don't force anything. When properly applied you can wiggle the component back and forth and it will come out. If it's giving you too much resistance it will break. It allows you to transfer ROMs via a n SD card. You won't be able to start the Pi3 on it.
