Eccho's Old TV modding

Hello fellow sudomoders. One of my aims about getting into electronics is being able to play around with old scrap and turn it into something useful. After my GBZ builds, I've acquired some basic knowledge and skills to do so. Here is my first creation: turning an old colour TV into a gaming station...

What took me maybe a LONG time last build [...] took me approx. 20 minutes to do this time.
The sweet feeling of realizing how you progressed. Keep it up.

Re: Just bought the majority of the parts and tools to start my GBZ

Hi!
Welcome aboard. Good tools are the key to success for your project! I keep upgrading mine little by little and keep telling myself I will never come back ever again where I used to be before =)

Wish you all the best!

I got all the parts for mine for less than <$180, but again, I got some parts off the side of the road.
That's very nice! I guess you have the proper tools as well?

Re: Help for build an cheap & easy GBZ

I have to be honest, easy and cheap don't go along together to build a GBZ. Pick only one. Often the cost of tools is forgotten to get the samller jobs done correctly. You should aim at a first GBZ build at around 500,-€. So GBZ sold here on the forums range from 250 to 400€.
