Depends on why the screen doesn't work .

It it's a busted cap then no problem if it's a busted screen or ribbon cable then I have no use for it.

It's been some time since I posted and I have some fixup projects waiting for me . If anyone used an old beaten up Gameboy to make his GBZ I'd be willing to take any top PCBs (the ones with the screen) if they were left over. Thanks .

After an hour of scraping I managed to get the dang thing unstuck. This little sucker was the culprit. A small magnetic ball barring. Excuse my ugly ass fingers .

He had problems with space but he solved them quite elegantly as far as I can see. Making a frame to make the top hald thicker isn't really a bad idea. If I'll have issues I'll try that route.
