Recommended Adhesive for Clear Glass Shield
I bought the non-adhesive clear glass shield from Kitsch-Bent, and was wondering if anyone had good recommendations for some transparent adhesive to stick it on the GBZ...

Re: GBA Zero parts
The alternative power supply lacks a low battery indicator and an enable feature, which makes using the all of the features of the graceful shutdown mod pretty challenging (though maybe not totally impossible -- you'd need to be smarter than me to pull it off).

Re: Wires/solder
Hmm.. apparently you REALLY need flux for the Game Boy Zero controls.. I've soldered wires together before. I thought this couldn't be that much harder. Right? Wrong. Absolute unmitigated disaster. No matter what I did, I couldn't get solder to melt and bond to the places where I exposed the copper ...

Re: power supply
Thanks! That all makes sense. Bummer that it makes charging seem somewhat inconvenient, however. I think I might have to break down and buy the pricey Adafruit PS, which has the additional benefit of a low battery indicator. I think it would technically be possible to use an external LiPo battery al...

Re: power supply
Thanks.. Still a bit over my head, but that's okay. All I know is that when the switch is off, the two blue pins are connected; and when it's on, the two red pins are connected. The blue pins aren't connected to the red pins in any way. At least that's what my bush league multimeter testing tells me...

Re: power supply
Http://pbelectronique.com/site/images/Schema/spdt.png If you have a 'dt' you only need to use the middle pin and one of the side pins. Thanks... Because it has 4 pins, is it safe to say that the original DMG power switch is DPDT? And since this particular power supply doesn't seem to have an engage...

Re: power supply
If you have a SPST or a SPDT, you should put the switch on the battery's red wire. If you have a DPST or a DPDT, you should put the switch on the battery's red wire and in parallel on the usb-in red wire. Does anyone care to explain this to amateurs like myself? Looks like there are about 4 other p...

Re: Alternative power supply help
I wonder.. For the lack of a low battery LED on this alternate power supply, would it be possible to use this? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/RC-model-2S-3S-4S-Detect-Lipo-Battery-Low-Voltage-Alarm-Buzzer/32639857083.html Desolder the buzzer, and wire it into the switch and battery (so it's only sup...
