Re: Glue Less Support Bracket for Kite's Mode/Power Switch Board
Hey smoothoperator, I'd love to see some pictures of what you've done, its sounds sweet. Getting it difficult to picture exactly what you mean from your description alone. Thanks I'll be taking my build back apart soon to replace my joystick that is not operating correctly and I will take some pict...

Re: [SOLVED] CSO - Mode button for volume not working
Update via pi: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/wiki/Updating-Arduino-(button-controller)-Firmware#via-the-raspberry-pi To ssh, you open 'putty' and in the address box put in the IP of the pi, you might be able to use "retropie" as the hostname may resolve. Then use user: pi pass: raspber...

Re: [SOLVED] CSO - Mode button for volume not working
Enable SSH: https://nostalgiatechs.com/enable-ssh-retropie/ OK, I got that part. Thanks Kite! How about using putty to follow the steps in Issue #5? Putty is the correct program to use isn't it? If someone could do a quick tutorial on updating the ardruino in the cso, that would take a load off of ...

Re: Glue Less Support Bracket for Kite's Mode/Power Switch Board
HoolyHoo, just wanted to let you know I received the bracket and it turned out awesome. I did switch a few things up on it though. I removed the tab with the mounting screw hole in it on the bigger bracket of the two. I then used some m2x10mm pan head screws and ran them through the case with the he...

Re: [SOLVED] CSO - Mode button for volume not working
I am having the same problem with not being able to adjust the volume on my cso. I see the issue has been raised and fixes implemented, but I just don't understand how to SSH in and use putty to update the arduino. I really don't want to brick my cso by doing something stupid! If someone could make ...

Re: SNES BUTTONS & MORE (read if planning a SNES colorway)
Has anyone hollowed out the original snes buttons some so the travel of the rubber membrane feels more like the original dmg buttons? It seems like I barely touch the buttons and they bottom out on the pcb. i personally havent played with the build i made with the SNES/Famicom buttons for a conside...

Re: [SOLVED] CSO build with HoolyHoo's SNES screen bracket
I also broke a screw off in a insert after installation. I simply drilled a small hole in the opposite side of the bracket, heated up the insert with soldering iron, and pushed it back out with a pick. After I had it out I could grip the insert with pliers and grip the other end of the screw with pl...

Re: [WIP] Fan/blower mount for kites circuit sword
Here is an alternative solution I'm working on for my build :D https://www.instagram.com/p/BfuRamAFZW0/ I believe your solution will work very well. Just removing the warmer air from inside the case will benefit the cm3 chip. HoolyHoo, if you keep coming up with these incredible solutions at such a...

Re: Noob's First built preparation: PSP joystick?
Remember though, most PSX (PS1) games require 4 back buttons which the circuit sword is very well capable of. Just something to think about.
