Re: My first CSO build

I'm interested to know, looking back. Is there anything you would have done differently? Only thing I would've done differently is make the time to finish this build sooner! I did have some unforseen circumstances, however, (newborn not sleeping for months) but that was out of my hands. Kite did an...

DieselDummy's CSO build - #1

Thought I'd share my first build. It's a Circuit Sword build from the first round of orders, so there's not much that hasn't been seen. Black shell, clear blue buttons, two PSP1000 joysticks, my personal "BatteryCoverButtons" for shoulders/triggers, YaYas screen glass and optimization. HoolyHoos sto...

Re: Diesel Dummy's "sudoNod"

Curious how you modified the USB dust cover to fit perfectly like that. Just really good dremelling? No power tools needed. The cover was a simple modification using a file. The right size file in the right spot and the cover fits perfectly. I haven't had one fall out either. 1541756352558787408694...

Nice, how did you connect the fan with the solder points? What type of Connector is this?
It's a simple JST connector, commonly used on the batteries. It may look a little different because I installed some heat shrink tubing on one side to provide some strain relief on the very thin fan wires.

Re: Diesel Dummy's "sudoNod"

Ok, here are the files for the collar on the headphone jack. The STL file was printed at 0.15 resolution. The hole must be drilled out to size i order to fit over the headphone jack. I've also included a step file if anyone would rather print it with a larger hole or perhaps try to print with a smal...

Re: Screen alignment

Yeah that's definitely a physical installation issue. Only recommendations I would have are to make sure the inside of the shell is nice and smooth. Sometimes there are dimples left from the injection molding process. Also, make sure your screen is aligned properly within the bracket itself. If neit...

Re: Screen alignment

So the screen for my CSO has been misaligned since day one. Its finally gotten to me and needs fixed. I'm using a Helders AIO screen bracket. Any recommendations on making sure its aligned? Jeff Do you have a link or a photo of what you are talking about? It would be a lot easier to help you. Also,...
