Re: resize partition manually?
D'oh - there's a very simple way to do what I was after: raspi-config, as described in the first section of this page: https://elinux.org/RPi_Resize_Flash_Partitions (which I originally linked to but also originally overlooked/didn't understand). I used this to expand the main partition to fill the ...

Re: resize partition manually?
so, i finally got the time and nerve to try this and it appears my system predates the "systemctl" command; after the sudo systemctl enable resize2fs_once i get: "sudo: systemctl: command not found" i found this on stackexchange (https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/66235/sudo-systemctl-c...

Re: Is the safe shutdown necessary?
How risky is it to power off (no safe shutdown, just cut power) from the ES menu? Have any of you on this forum ever had an SD card get corrupted from doing this? My first build has no safe shutdown - I always exit a game to the ES menu before powering off and wondering if I'm rolling the dice each ...

Re: request: button pcb soldering advice
thanks for the replies. the holes on this one seem much smaller and more difficult for me to solder to than the two-button common ground dmg button pcb. i feel like i need an extra hand with this one to keep the wire in position when i'm soldering. i put the pcb in some "helping hands" stand, then i...

request: button pcb soldering advice
hi, i have a "common ground dmg button pcb (A/B/X/Y version)" from kitsch-bent and am having trouble soldering wires to it. i'm trying to fit a ribbon cable (with each end stripped and lightly tinned) through all the little holes - if i fit all the ribbon cable ends through and then just gob a bunch...

How about the rear button caps - were those already posted somewhere? I didn't see them. Would you mind sharing? They look very nice. How do you like the feel of them?

Re: Multiple hotkeys?
From searching online (in places like https://retropie.org.uk/forum/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/) it looks like what I was hoping to do is not possible - it appears that only one hotkey button can be assigned and one button can be mapped to each function. (One exception is opening the rgu...

Re: [WANTED] 3D Printed Screen, Button, & Component Bracket
Looks great - I am interested in this. Is this meant to work with most any of those 3.5" backup camera screens, or is there a particular screen in mind? I have a couple of the BW screens (I think variant 7 from the wiki).

Re: Game Boy Pi B
At the time when I started this, I wasn't aware of a way to add additional buttons - Kitsch-Bent only offered the standard Game Boy DMG button PCB at the time, and I didn't want to use tactile switches. I do wish I could play more SNES games on it, which is why I'm going to make another (proper) "Ga...
