I'll give that a try, but I have a feeling it is something more serious. Especially since the screen works perfectly with a Pi 1. Photo attached.

I got my Pi zero in and immediately wanted to play. I soldered wires to the video out and ground to a composite plug, plug it into a car monitor (powered seperately), put in a correctly formatted micro sd card and power on! I just put in a offer on ebay for one of these. I've read through the thread - but still wondering - what was the best way, in the end, to wire it up?

For power - directly to powerboost or to pi?

For video - VGA or Com?
