heating issues?
I've put together my mintypi v3 almost completely, but before i screwed everything together, i noticed that the pi was getting very hot. hot enough to warp the PLA printed parts. i can't imagine that that's normal or safe, especially since the cpu where it is hottest goes directly over the battery. ...

Re: Innolux screen flickering
I disconnected the board, and found a 5v test pad on the back. I soldered vcc to that and all the flickering went away. Thanks!Russian_master wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:29 amunplug the board from the screen, there are contacts for connecting 5v and GND, and everything will work as it should. Innolux screen flickering
Hello, I just received my screen in the mail today. When I took it out of the casing, I saw that I had the innolux variation. I performed the suggested mod to the screen, bridging a pin on an IC with VCC, but then when I hooked it up to my pi 0, things looked staticky. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?...

Help converting a 4.3 inch screen to 5 volts
Hi, I'm trying to connect a 4.3 inch monitor to my pi 0, but when I did it was flickering so much it was unreadable. The screen normally runs on 12 volts. I checked the wiki and also this thread on othermod and I found some boards that looked similar but not exactly the same. https://othermod.com/co...

Re: Burger King Gameboy build log
hope i haven't come of as being rude because that wasn't my intention. i was more expressing frustration at the inconsistencies in the cases (and myself for not taking better measurements.) helder's been nice enough to share the board files which he didnt have to do and I've got a few more of these ...

Re: Burger King Gameboy build log
The screens arrived today. They are too big though, being 2 inches on the diagonal, where the hole for the screen is 1.9 inches. At such a small scale it's a noticeable difference. It also doesn't fit centered. I'm going to change to a 1.8 in screen, which unfortunately makes the LCD PCBs useless. :...
