@Cannikin Could you post some more build images and how ES looks. I wanted to see how much of the screen is visible from outside.

No what I am saying is connect Pi->HDMI to VGA converter->another VGA monitor.
If this works there is nothing wrong with your converter. If it doesnt, you know where the problem is.

Can you check the part number of IC7. It is certainly your voltage converter.

When you say hot, how hot does it get? Can you keep a finger on it for long time without burning your finger?

Ok my bad. Clearly the IC does not follow standard DPAK pin layout. If Your screen is working properly for both 5v (on pin 3) and 3.3v (on pin 2) on 3.3Regulator and your AMT is still getting hot, try removing the PCB from the screen and post photos of PBC front and back and your raspberry pi.
