Re: Aluminum Case

No need for glue at all. It stays in place quite nicely and was built to accommodate the 320x240 screen. The battery is a different story as there isn't a provision to hold it in place. What I did was put a piece of velco on the battery inside cover and the battery to stop it from moving around. Of ...

Re: Circuit swords not booting

I'm having this same issue with two 2018 boards as well that I'm finally putting together. I tried the same SD card on two other older older builds and it worked fine.

Re: [WTB] square glass screen lens for DMG

I would love to find one without the notch as well. I can easily machine a the gameboy case with the same radius for each corner.

Laser Cutting Case

I've had a couple game boy zero builds, and the one common thing between all of them was the screen surround. It came out crappy. Every time. Rough edges. Each one looked like a hack job. I considered one of the CNC cases, but the backlog on that is significant, and I wanted to be cheap. Since I alr...

Send it back to me as long as it's not damaged beyond what you're telling me I can swap it for another and I'll fix it for one of my builds.
Thanks for the offer, but I was able to rework it using copper tape and some deft soldering. Those ribbon cables are incredibly delicate.

Re: Bad Display Cables/ LCD Ribbon

In any event, I tried the tape method and cut equal parts from both ribbon sides so that it would fit in the socket. I suspect I had a problem which was proven true. The traces lifted up from the ribbon despite being über gentle. Know of any other place that I can order these displays from?
