Found that you can access the dip switches from the top left of the battery compartment without taking apart the shell. Randomly flicked them and figured out how to adjust the brightness there.

I didn’t like the big gap below the USB-C connector inside the EXT opening on the Circuit Shield, so I made a piece to fit in there. Tolerance is very tight (I used uhb tape instead of glue and had to sand the part a little to allow for the tape thickness). Test fit before sticking it in! Open cutou...
