Re: Switch shaped handheld

software support on the pi4 is here already. i've been doing a couple handhelds based on it, and performance is insane! heat / cooling is the big problem you'll need to solve for.

Re: [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie

Has anyone had any luck getting an Adafruit 1.54" 240x240 screen to work with retropie? I've used this guide several times to get other screens working (Thanks Moosepr!). I've tried both Juj's and Tasanakorn's software, and I've spent hours googling issues and still no luck. I'm guessing the lack o...

Re: Pi Safe Shutdown Using Adafruit's Push Button Power

I haven't tried it, but I think if you have a PowerBoost or other PSU with an "engage" (en) pin that turns it on, you would just need to wire one more wire from that "en" pin to the unused leg of the switch that is on the same row as the "shut down" ones, and I think it would work the same

Re: GBZ wiring check

.

this is tinkerboy's board with a built-in arduino for controls and a usb hub. you should just connect the usb d+/- on this to get the controls to work.

Re: GBZ wiring check

yes, essentially - i don't know if those numbers are accurate, but that's the idea. and yes, the purple pcb is just a power strip to keep all your 5v and gnd power connections organized. btw - that button board isn't powered. those extra "5v" pads are there to power the sound and and to serve the sa...

Re: GBZ wiring check

also the 1000c is probably not going to be able to support the a+ and that screen. you'll run into a lot of power issues. tinkerboy has a psu with a safe shutdown built in that he says should support this tho. Why wouldnt the 1000c be able to support both the screen and the pi3a+? Do you have any o...

GUIDE | Pi Safe Shutdown Using Adafruit's Push Button Power

 For those struggling with a way to achieve a Safe (software) Shutdown, here is how you can wire the Push Button Power Switch breakout board with any power supply / PSU, using a DPDT sliding switch. Here is the main product page for the board, but you can buy it many places around the web: ht...
