Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

You know, you keep pointing out stuff that I should have thought of. I'll give this a try when I get home.

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Alright, new micro lipo charging board connected. System still fails to get power all the way to the raspberry pi. I read voltage coming out of the battery. There is voltage at the switch and the battery monitor board. I read 0.41V at the 5V spot on the gpio and 0.37V at the 3.3V spot on the gpio. N...

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

I have another adafruit one coming in the mail. Going to order a set of those pretty soon though. I'll be making another mintypi and I'll definitely need more. Plus, always good to have backups, right?

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Yeah, I'm shopping around for similar boards. I had seen a set on Amazon that looked like the adafruit one, except it came in a set of multiple. Should have bookmarked it when I saw it.

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

I'll check it out. I just put in an order to buy switches in bulk as well since I can get 50 of them for the same price as the adafruit one. Going to try swapping parts out and see if it helps. Though I don't even know if it's the switch now. Connected everything up without the switch and it still w...

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Yeah that works right away. Immediately turns on. I am just so confused if it is the switch. Why did it stop working after i repaired the wire going to the sound card? The soldering iron never even got near the switch for that quick procedure. Now I am reading no charge from the battery. Going to pre...

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Checking continuity and where the power stops: Power is good all the way to the battery board. A little high but it is getting there. 3.9V to 4V. No power on the raspberry pi board though. Likewise there is weird continuity. All 3 switch pins have continuity between them. Likewise the edge of the ba...

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Well I swapped out the battery board for a new one. Resoldered all the wires back on and fixed where my audio was going. Rechecked the micro lipo board and all of my connections. Everything looks good. Sadly I used all black wires for the build so pictures are only so helpful. And I can follow their...

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

Definitely going to try that. Thanks for the response man. I feel like a dork now. Of course it's the pad and not the pitted spot.

Re: Microlipo LEDs staying on

And yeah, since I didn't explicitly say it, this was working (albeit no audio) before I started this process.
