PSX... isn't that another name for PS1? I thought it doesn't play well on the Pi anyways...edwardthehuman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 9:57 pmIf you don't wanna play PSX games then stick to just two back buttons and no joystick and you will be good. But playing PSX games because your Rasberry Pi 3 or CM3 can? hard to pass!

Re: [Pre-Sale] Universal Button L1, L2, R1, R2 Back Button PCB and Silicone Buttons
I would suggest sticking just up to the PS1 generation and down with one joystick, 4 back buttons and you will be good to go. No N64, Saturn, Dreamcast. Actually, I was thinking that anything below that didn't need more than two buttons at the back?.... What lower level console needed L1, L2, R1, R2?

Re: [Pre-Sale] Universal Button L1, L2, R1, R2 Back Button PCB and Silicone Buttons
Actually, I just had another look at the N64 button config on the retro pie site... it looks like it needs two analog joysticks? A left and a right? So those that have just one joystick on the front of their case, are they able to play N64 games? (FYI, I read Kite's Mode+L1/R1 to change things, but ...

Re: [Pre-Sale] Universal Button L1, L2, R1, R2 Back Button PCB and Silicone Buttons
Take a look at this webpage from the Retropie website. https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroArch-Configuration/#default-core-controls-for-all-emulators That should give you and idea of which gaming consoles require L1, R1 and L2, R2. For the most part you can get away with two back buttons unless you ...

Here is a ready to go solution from the community!! Silly question, but I'll ask it anyway, as I'm ignorant...

Re: Yoshi's Circuit Sword Build (Split Colour Shell, DMG Back Button Bracket)
Thanks Yoshi. Took another look. They had a good range of colors for the silicone buttons. Unfortunately, the one I'm looking for (white) is sold out. Will ask them when it's back in stock. In the meantime, anyone know another vendor selling colored silicone buttons?
