Thanks for the suggestion, i really don't want to open everything up again. I may have found a solution to my problem. Cambles safe shutdown has low battery sensing but I had the script pointing to the wrong 3.3v pin on the pi. We see how it goes. 3 hours battery time so far 😀

It was a low battery issue...need to figure out how to get a low battery warning using the feature on cambles safe shutdown

Hi guys, so a weird problem popped up today with my finished GBZ build (in signature). On mains it would run perfectly but once disconnected from mains, the gbz would boot up and run VERY slow. My 2 cents reading from other posts, you may want to shorten the cables as much as possible and twist the data lines (to shield from interference).

Had the same issue. Used a pice of the silicone conductive material: i cut a small slice off the cylinderically part and used this to extend the button lenght. Since silicone is hard to glue i used a pice of a needle to fix the silicone spacer part. Exactly what I did. I had an extra set of silicon...

Didn't know those types of buttons existed. When I was looking for parts I immediately knew I didn't want them sticking out but just enough so they wouldn't be a pain to find.
