Re: Is Pi Zero really up of the task?
I find the pi zero sufficient for the most part. Some games from SNES and GBA I found were not perfect. I have played through minnish cap and megaman zero x series, but not much other GBA experience. But for the most part it's always good enough for the type games I play. And it's nice and small for...

Re: renegade labs ground board wiring.
For audio, all you need to do is add this line to the config.txt
(If using both gpio)
dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4
(If using one gpio - 13 or 18)
dtoverlay=pwm,pin=18,func=2

Re: renegade labs ground board wiring.
You'll have no luck contacting renegade labs likely. I'm not too familiar with the products, but have not heard anything good about customer service. You can inspect the traces for each button, and find which gpio they go to pretty easily. And use that info and install retrogame (check adafruits gui...

Re: Need help reaching Renegade Labs
Only heard bad things about the customer support. Good luck to you.
Seems the website has expired discord links and the Facebook page link is dead too...
Might be out of luck...which sucks.

Re: Questions about Gameboy Zero and GBA Zero
I already have a retropie system hooked up to my tv, but I'm interested in building a GBA Zero or GB Zero. Is there any way to build one without soldering, and if so, what would be the minimum price to build one (without a 3d printer). I'm not worried about x and y buttons. And I'd also like to kno...

Re: Game Boy Zero folks: do your GBZ's actually work on SNES?
Never had an issue with any SNES games I like to play.
I think there are some that struggle though. Some that come to mind are Yoshi's Island, starfox.
In general the vast majority of SNES games are totally fine.

Re: white screen
I would check all solder points between the pi and dpi board. Also be sure you have an image installed with the proper drivers to run the screen. I am assuming tinkerboy provides an image, or has instructions on how to install the proper drivers. It won't work without the drivers.

Re: First GBZ. Newbie
Best bet would be to get a kite sword lite when he opens preorders. (Or the regular sword if you want cm3, instead of a pi zero.) All you need to buy is a shell, buttons, etc... And a battery. Also a pi zero if doing a lite. The regular sword includes a cm3. Check here for more information: https://...

Re: Building a kit I bought years ago.
Those battery indicator LEDs; do they light up only when the battery is charging? Im hoping to use them as a battery level indicator. Or is there a battery level indicator implemented through software in retropi? I can't recall exactly if they light up only when charging or not. You'd have to conne...
