Gameboy Mk3 - RPi3 + DPI screen + RTC diy [Completed!]

Hi guys! Here I'm showing my second build based on a raspberry pi 3 and a DPI screen. I have already built a GBZero with a standard composite screen I have never been satisfied of, so while designing this mk3 (yes, it's just for the raspi3) a dpi screen was kinda a must-have feature. With the idea o...

Re: [tinkerBOY] Game Boy Three - RPi3 and DPI screen in 24-bit mode [WIP]

Hi, i would like to know how you can use I2C or UART with DPI enabled. According to the documentation: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/dpi/ there is no configuration in which Pin 3/5 (I2C) or Pin 8/10 (UART) are free. So i think you have to use free pins and do it in ...

Re: [tinkerBOY] Game Boy Three - RPi3 and DPI screen in 24-bit mode [WIP]

Is it possible to remap some pin of the dpi screen in order to use the uart or i2c? Did you get any possibility of communication with an arduino for example? (except for the USB) Hi, i would like to know how you can use I2C or UART with DPI enabled. According to the documentation: https://www.raspb...

Did you do that? Could you please share your settings?

TinkerBoy I took a lot of inspiration from your work and I'm going to make my second build with a raspi3 and a dpi screen. Waiting for the parts.
Good job and waiting for updates!!

Re: Automatic first setup script (HDMI rotation - RTC - ATtiny85 bat monitor - graceful shutdown - optimizations)

Sorry but I'm a big noob on Linux, can you explain me the most easy way to make this like a tuto? I'm not sure to understand everything if I have to write a script (I'm french by the way....) It is not possible to change or add some line in the config.txt ? like "display_rotate=2" for the 3.5...

Hello razer.93 I would like to rotate the HDMI (because I put my screen upside down) so what part of your script I need to copy in my config.txt.

Nice GBZ!
You can take script/screen.sh script directly or go through the installer and choose just what you need! ;)
