Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO

Having trouble, please can someone help. I can't copy the "Adafruit-Retrogame" folder into "/home/pi". I've tried to add it to samba share but failed? Can I just download this folder on the pi without using a pc Yes you can copy the folder any way you can. Is there a way to change the GPIO number a...

Re: Gameboy 'Athena' (Pi3) build log [WIP].

How are you connecting the joystick to the pi? The sticks have 6 pins, 4 of which are connected in pairs. I connect GND to ground, VCC to VCC and the outputs to the analogue inputs on my pro-micro. Is this the pro micro? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-Leonardo-Pro-Micro-ATmega32U4-5V-16MHz-Replace-ATme...

Re: Gameboy 'Athena' (Pi3) build log [WIP].

I've been comms-quiet recently, as term 4 of school started this week. I got my composite screen in the post and it works! https://i.imgur.com/mzx1n3W.jpg However, I noticed the screen was off-centre, and realised that it was because the glue had come off and the actual LCD module was rattling arou...

Re: New Build Help!

A teensy is not necessary, I have wired my PCB straight to the pi following this guide provided by a member here (Thanks to the contributor) Follow this link >>>>>>>>>>>> http://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57 As for the audio, I recommend using an Adafruit 2.5w mono amp and a USB Sound card, ...

So you're say just switch the pi power leads with the leads of the power distributor?
yes that worked for me and it also brought down the temperature of my powerboost. Can't guarantee that it will fix the problem but can't hurt to try.

Also what gauge wire are you using?

its hand draw, hopefully you guys can understand it.
how hot does your powerboost get? I had a problem that the 2 bottom leads on the power boost that is powering up the pi was not giving it enough power but when I moved it up to where you have the power strip connected the problem stopped.

Re: gamey boy RPi3 power problems

This weekend I started making a gameboy zero, but using a raspberry pi 3 instead. I got the screen to work, the controller to work with 2 joysticks and A,B,X,Y L1, L2, R1, R2, directional pad and start, select. It all works. The only problem I'm currently having is i get the lightening bolt in the ...
