Re: Dreamcast VMU Zero All-in-one

I fitted the 800mAh today. Works just fine and it is a perfect fit...so perfect that there is absolutely no room for anything else. Meaning, I lost the speaker :/ I have about 7x9x6mm to fit one at the bottom, maybe from a phone? I had to do a few small case modifications to route the cables (origin...

400mAh: Cellevia Batteries LP403035 450mAh: Cellevia Batteries LPHD372466 800mAh: Cellecia Batteries LP453350 The 400mAh fits easily, I just shortened the cable a bit, I even had to add some padding so that the Battery flap thing stays in place. The 450mAh (the long one) would fit with a simple addi...

Re: Dreamcast VMU Zero All-in-one

Got mine working finally (thx satri who pretty much did 95% of the work for me!). Gameboy, NES, Pico8 and GameGear are perfectly playable. Gameboy is the best because of rather large font sizes in games. vmudone3.jpg vmudone2.jpg vmudone1.jpg It uses the artbook-micro theme which works perfectly wel...

Re: POCO Zero - Vapor Ware?

I reaaally like this form factor and size and really tempted to buy it. My wife is going to kill me, I already ordered lots of gear, displays and a vmu board this month :)

Re: Dreamcast VMU Zero All-in-one

Just got mine, thanks!
Can't wait to put it together, still waiting for a few parts tough.
I am going to strip my pi as much as I can and ordered 5 different batteries to try and fit in.

Re: Oregon Trail build

8-15$ is what I normally pay for shipping from the US. 45.99$ + 12.05$ is what ebay wants, which I think is a bit ridiculous, as it costs just 25$ and is still available.

Oregon Trail build

Saw this video on LGR yesterday: Video I think it looks amazingly retro and would be a fitting enclosure for some old DosBox or ScummVM games. The controller board is already on its own, no idea if the display might be reusable as well. Also so much room for extra stuff, could easily fit a PI3 and o...

Re: YACSOB - Yet another Circuit Sword (Original) build :)

@nicode70: yep, all is provided, 2 cables with connector that you only have to solder on the joystick side, the cables are the perfect length to install the joysticks at all reasonable positions

Re: YACSOB - Yet another Circuit Sword (Original) build :)

I used the CSO, so not a lot of wiring involved. You can see the pinout here: https://www.adafruit.com/product/444 And kite included a cable that just has to be matched up to the connector on the CSO (which is labeled). EDIT: And a small tipp: orient it like shown in hoolyhoo's bracket, that way you...
