@DirtyBeagles what did you use to make your buttons hole bezel? When you say bezel, I believe you mean the little angled cut... I followed chiz's post (pretty long post). I had some pics on the old forum, haven't put any up on the new one yet (I was waiting to make more progress). However, I can confirm that if you have the same board as me (95% confident), it will run off of 5V without any modifications. my lcd board with attached wires http://i.imgur.com/4vrK4Bg.jpg

I love the Pi arcade build and would want to build that eventually, but my next project will probably be trying to convert an old Asus netbook into a retropie gaming system...I've been looking into, but haven't found a whole lot about it other than that the lcd screen connectivity could be an issue.

pretty sure you have the same board as me and I could get it to run on 5V...have you tried it yet?
