Re: Veteran's 4th "NO Dpad BUILD" (Arcade Edition)
This is filth. And by filth i mean filthy good The simplicity of the white, black and grey is great. And i swear every time i do a 'clean' GBZ build i look at your build internals and need another coffee. Great work

Gaboze Pocaio - Battery Monitor (UPDATED)
Hey All, So for those of you currently working on / in possession of Eugene's Gaboze Pocaio, you may be wanting to add the ever useful battery monitor. If so, here's a guide. 8-) There's not much more to it other than using what info is already out there. The monitor I'm referring to uses the script...

Re: On-Screen Battery Monitor Options
If you're installing the Battery monitor script only and not the combo script be careful what GPIO7 is wired to as this is the trigger for manual shutdown. You could inadvertently shutdown the Pi by pressing whatever your build utilises for GPIO 7. Additionally, in reference to the icon disappearing...

Realistically it's going to be a generic RetroPie manual with specific variations for mintyPi, GBZ, etc...
I have one that I give out which I will refine and share. Might be helpful.

Re: Minty Pi no Sound
Redid everything as suggested and still no sound. This looks to be an issue for a lot of people in the past week or so based on the posts. I'm beginning to consider swapping out the pi zero w and starting over from scratch, with the assumption that it has bridges that I can't find on the neutral gr...

Re: LPs Circuit Sword - CM3
Maybe I am missing something obvious here, but did you have to remove the middle posts from Hoolyhoo's bracket to put the tactile switches in? You can remove the screw posts if you like but I Dremel down the Game Boy shell posts enough that the tactiles do not interfere or come into contact with th...

Re: Game Boy Light - Restoration
Looks like it's coming along well. Can you get a pic of the final paint with better more neutral lighting? It's looking pretty beige as is and I'm not sure if that's the lighting or not. Have since completed the spraying and uploaded a shot from front. It's definitely gold and imo a close match but...

Re: Minty Pi no Sound
Agree with Veteran. The wiring on your soundcard is incorrect. Fix that as shown and re-test. 😎 The data pads on your pi seem a bit ropey too and hard to say if damaged. Clean them up and resolder the wires taking care to leave the visible gap between them. Have you bridged to the outer anchor point...

Game Boy Light - Restoration
Hey Guys, So this is a slightly different project for me - a restoration of a Game Boy Light . I've been after one of these for some time to add to my collection but as you may know they are not so easy to come by and those available are often in poor working order or physical condition. I managed t...
