I used Vallejo acrylic paints with an airbrush in my build. I painted the entire shell. I’m sure you can used spray paint for plastic as well though.

Re: Help fixing cosmetic mistake
Yeah. Probably painting the entire shell is the only sure way to hide it, but then you will need new button labels too. Not sure which hassle is easier, starting over or painting. I would suggest possibly painting a symbol/logo with a stencil over that spot, but it’s so close to the button I’m not s...

Re: Game Boy Null Kit
Yeah. I was tempted my self to order tinted acrylic, but I knew I wanted the first one crystal clear. It just looks so cool like that.
If I decide do another one down the road I may go tinted grey next time.

Re: [UPDATE] "Air duct" and "fan-mount" for kites circuit sword
Variant 2: Simple fan mount I designed a little bracket which can be used to attach the fan nicely (hopefully  ) to the CM of kites circuit sword. Then fan can be fastened with up to three M1 screws (I used the normal little "phillips head screws" from a 3rd party gameboy shell). To make it fi...

Great job man! Was that bondo you used? You can’t even tell where the hinges and slot was anymore.

I definitely like the look a lot. I agree with Helder on the fit. Maybe you can lighty sand the holes to open them up a litter bigger so that they pop out more.

Wow! That looks great. I was about to ask about the hinges as well but I see your pics above. Cool custom decals on the back as well.
Definitely interested in seeing the process when you post it.

Re: My First Circuit Sword Build - Custom Painted US SNES Style
Probably won’t work with the snes cartridge, but on my build with a full gameboy cartridge (not cut like yours). I used a dremmel to cut a strip off the metal shielding piece just above the bottom? two screw holes. I then filed down the rough edges and covered it in electrical tape the friction kee...
