Re: Audio Bracket, Screen Stencil, and Shoulder Drill Guide

Wow thank you so much for modeling and posting these. Besides the custom boards, I feel like these simple 3D printed parts really help with fitting and aligning everything. It feels like only a year ago when everyone was fashioning screw posts from plastic trimmed away and hot glued back on, or usin...

Re: 3DP MintyPi & Giveaway

Wow, I really love this custom version of the Minty Pi. Just curious, where are the giveaway details? Also, would you make the STL models available or are you planning on selling it (models or completed units)? Thanks.

Re: mintyPi Frequently Asked Questions **READ THIS**

My 15 year old son has been bothering me for a while about building one of these MintyPi games. I don't know electronics real well, but I am an electrician. Where can I order all the needed parts for him as a gift? Also do you think we can put it all together ourselves? He's good with the software ...

Re: STL Files for 3D-Printing mintyPi

Does anyone have any advice for printing the parts, particularly the faceplate? I feel the orientation should be rotated so the face is upside down (flat against the build plate), but I am not sure how the logo would be affected in this case. I am guessing there would be support material built. Has...

Helder, not a big deal but I saw your location is in MA but I was charged tax in CA. Do you know why that is? Not sure if you read the bold text above the PayPal button on OP. If you didn't, here it is: Price is $50 plus $5 shipping in USA and $13 International,  Paypal fees added as a tax which co...

Re: GBA dpad getting stuck on silicone pad

I would clean it except the pad is brand new, as is the d-pad, and there's no residue on the PCB. What's happening is the plastic in the dpad is getting pushed into the silicone and getting stuck for a bit. I think I was able to resolve it by chance after reassembling it many times ... I must have r...

GBA dpad getting stuck on silicone pad

Hi, I built a Freeplay Zero (aka Gameboy Advance with Pi Zero). Everything works well but I have this consistent problem where a certain direction on the d-pad gets stuck to the silicone pad. I bought both from Retro Modding and they seem like run of the mill components. I am sure I have seated the ...

Re: STL Files for 3D-Printing mintyPi

Wait, what? Why would you say that? Someone just before me was talking specifically about downloading the STL's. I haven't even grabbed them yet. You are still sold out of the board and screen. What are you accusing me of here? I joined because I am interested in portable Retropie kits and wanted to...
