Re: Using a Gameboy Color Cartridge For The SD Adapter?

Not sure if the cartridge color itself matters to you but this website has cheap cartridge decals I've been considering. And Pokemon red is one of them. I've also seen a lot of Pokemon cartridge decals on eBay. Noo the cartridge color. :[ Couldn't care less about the sticker haha. I can't find a pl...

Re: A doubt about the cartridge reader

Probably dead thread, but you can buy fried DS Lite PCBs in lots on eBay. Found a guy who sells five at a time for about $6 USD. I just bought AS-IS parts DS Lites, but when they arrived, both were semi-functional. Going to scrap one for the cart reader, screens and buttons and turn the other into a...

Re: Pi 3 Gear (WIP)

thanks, do you know if this will wear off with fingers rubbing on it? i need to find a paint solution too! It's very possible that it will eventually wear off, but I will probably use 2-3 layers of high gloss clear coat after the several layers of paint. I say several layers as my rattle can skills...

Re: Parts list for new build - Would you change anything?

My build is just starting but I'll attach my spreadsheet I made for costs. My friend and I are building ours together, so he'll be borrowing the extra parts I'll have left over. If you order parts like I did, the second build is roughly half the cost of the first one...basically just buying the PCBs...

Re: What is your first video game memory?

On my fifth birthday, my dad gave me an original Gameboy and a copy of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. 24 years and countless games later, those are still my strongest and most treasured gaming memories; my dad, sister and I had different save pipes, and we specialized in different worlds... My ...

Re: Xbox 360 buttons in my Gameboy zero

I got some off a Madkatz (RIP) Xbox controller, but they are a hair too narrow to use in the stock DMG holes... might modify a bit to make them fit.

Re: GameCubePi 3 WIP

This is cool! I love the idea of the screen on the inside. Does it have a battery or does it need to be plugged in to play? It needs to be plugged in. Maybe someday i will put some batteries in it. I could see a powerbank affixed to the expansion port cover; definitely plenty of real estate up for ...

Re: Another Metroid 2 Remake (AM2R)

Looks like it was just struck dead. Nintendo sent him an official cease and desist via DMCA. So keep hope alive if you managed to eek it out before it was taken down... This wizard sounds pretty disheartened about it.
