Re: Power Strip [OSHPark]
I ordered a handful at their cost of these back on August 7th, 2016. If anyone needs a ones for testing or potential other development just tell me and I'll see what I can do. Tell me if you need some Helder to show off/test. Actually @Wermy is in need of one for his new video *wink* *wink* Yes ple...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns
wouldn't it be better after the pot or even before? either way it's a good test to do in all different configurations. Everything I've read online said to combine the channels before they are amplified (line level). I'll definitely test it on a breadboard first once I find four matching resistors o...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns
How would that work exactly? The reason he wants to combine the 2 outputs is to have a muxed left and right channel into the mono speaker. The speaker will sound like shit without the amp, if we tap into the audio as you say then we're bypassing the filter and amp. The audio would still go through ...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns
But how do you get a stereo mix then? Try this: http://www.stufinnis.co.uk/stereotomono.html omit one of the Mono outputs in that diagram. Also: https://youtu.be/UDkrE4swJhc?t=1m46s I was looking at these links and some other ones I found and they all recommend adding the resistors to line level au...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns
no headphones plugged in - audio goes into the jack and out to the speaker But with your current setup, only 1 channel gets played, left or right. Stereo always goes to the headphone but since you have 1 MONO speaker you get one channel since it is Mono. What is wrong with this setup? I don't under...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns
Can someone explain what "Switch" is? And also, why isn't the speakers positive connected to "Speaker +"? @helder mentioned in another thread that the "switch" pad is treated as ground if not using the original DMG headphone jack. I have my third party jack hooked up as shown in the diagram and it ...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Edit: I guess I do not really need wifi, I will order a Bluetooth adapter and test it. I will need that when use BT controllers. Please, dont give up. When I first started planning, I hadn't played around with retropie, and underestimated the importance of wifi. So, the only other thing it could be...

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries
Most of the 14500 batteries I've looked at are rated between 750 and 900 mah. Some even have protection circuits built into the individual cells themselves. But if you are connecting 4 in parallel, it probably makes more sense to use a single protection circuit for the group. http://www.batteryjunct...
