man, i bet these buttons would look nice in a gbz!
There are a ton of aftermarket and third party controllers now days that look identical. You can use them and not feel bad about ruining a controller.Flowlance wrote:It'd be a shame to sacrifice a 8bitdo controller imo.
I've been trying to look for buttons that are identical with the letters engraved, but can't find any. do you know where i can get some like those?Kilren wrote:There are a ton of aftermarket and third party controllers now days that look identical. I don't know if they're exactly the same size, I'd have to take apart my 360 controller and grab a caliper. But it is an idea to play with if you want to investigate it is using xbox 360 button replacements.skrapps914 wrote:I've been trying to look for buttons that are identical with the letters engraved, but can't find any. do you know where i can get some like those?Kilren wrote:There are a ton of aftermarket and third party controllers now days that look identical. It's a real shame that they can't make a red button bright red, not wine red! That crappy plastic, those colours they use just look cheap (I know as I bought them!!). I'm thinking of casting my own buttons....!!Fleder wrote:Not really everyones taste, but they do fit if you cut a little nub at the bottom.

Hey dom, that sounds like an awesome how-to guide if you're willing to do it and have the means to document it. I'm sure people wouldn't mind trying making their own buttons if it's simple.dominator wrote: It's a real shame that they can't make a red button bright red, not wine red! If I do it, then I will make a guide. I have already ordered 5 button sets to use as a mold and bought the condutive pads.Kilren wrote:Hey dom, that sounds like an awesome how-to guide if you're willing to do it and have the means to document it.
