Hi Guys!

First of all I want to apologise for my English.
I’m thinking about to do a small proyect with my all Game Gear case.
I want to buy a Raspberry pi w, a LCD, a battery charger, Battery 3.7v.
But I have a Little problem... the D-Pad and the buttons.
- In a first moment I think to buy a PCB 6 button board, but its takes a few problems: The distance between buttons is too far. So I think:
- Is possible to cut the PCB and leave the button that I need?, connecting to the raspberry directly.
- Or maybe is more easy do a D Pad using a Breadboard?
If someone have a idea, I will appreciate it.

you can make a cusotom made 1 but they are 1 expeseins and mostly sell in sets of 5 where i get them from so yeah

This could be possible, but it depends on the size of the PCB. Boards are also usually difficult to cut cleanly (for me at least), so I wouldn't spend a lot of money on the board just to cut it up and potentially damage it.

I think your best option at the moment is to use a breadboard to get the layout you want. Then you can resize it to your liking. Once you have that down, you can look into getting a custom PCB made. I think it's a lot more fun experimenting with a breadboard and making it all yourself!
