It says up to 2.80 GHz, so can it be overclocked or something? I wouldn't think a stick like that could be OC'd.

Ya u can but I don't recommend, because that little guy gets really hot without a good cooling and the boost isn't really much. And also the battery drains much faster.

The x8700 Or x8750 boards are good at normal config and even powerful for gamecube emulation and many good steam games and in home streaming.

Intel® Core™ m5-6Y57 Processor is way more powerful than the Intel Atom® x7-Z8700 Processor.
It is HT so 4 cores (2 physical, 2 logical) and has a higher TDP. I had a GPD Win with X8700 and it was barely capable of emulating wii, while this one can run WiiU titles via CEMU.

I ordered this product from @banjokazooie and right now, I am working on getting a better cooling system to avoid the system reaching 80°C, which is the throttling limit.

Ya i looked wrong, the performance is a little bit better but only because it needs less power @ CPU. But both, if u wanna get best performance needs boost and the temp rises **** high and so the noise level for cooling sucks. That's why I prefer the boards, their u have more space for cooling.

But all in all the temp on this processors sucks with a fan less solution 😂

Hey banjo, incredible build once again. I've been looking to do something similar for a very long time, since they unveiled the v2 compute stick.
This post gives me confidence to do it, but I'm still stuck on some things.
For one, why does the battery say 3.7v?
Also, how do you get power to all the parts of the build and how do you charge it?

They are stacked together 2x4000mAh, power is distributed from pololu step down converter, charging is done via TP5100 board. Battery monitor software is written in C#.

Can I do this with one 7.4v battery and can you charge and discharge the battery at the same time?
