Vectrex Joystick Controllers

Seeing as the origibnal Vectrex controllers are analog and there's only 2 original analog games - I thought we needed a decent digital arcade style stick for the vectrex.

I use these boxes on nearly all of the sticks I make and vary the overlays, buttons, balltops.

Seeing as the boxes are quite 'mini', I turn the joysticks shafts smaller and use 30mm balltops rather thann the standard 35mm ones. I also use OBSF24 Sanwa buttons rather thann the usual OBSF30 buttons (OBSF24 are usually used as 'start' buttons on arcade cabs)

The analog to digital conversion is a very simple resistor circuit I found on the internet.

Here's the circuit diagram (resistors actually go on the underside of what you are looking at)

What method did you use to apply graphics to the casing? They look pro!

They are a sticky cold laminated textured vinyl. www.arcadeartshop.com can print your designs on the same material.
