Star Wars Millennium Falcon N64

Post by Kalen » Sat Sep 03, 2016 8:37 am

So about a year ago I was looking at models to build online and I came across some really cool painted and lighted Millennium Falcons. After a few days of looking at different Falcon models I started to wonder if I could fit a Nintendo 64 inside of one. Well long story short (and 3 N64s later) here's what I ended up with.

Had to desolder the A/V port and extend it about 6 inches. This was my first try. Looks pretty bad but it worked. I have a much cleaner one installed now. Sorry no pics of that one

Used fiber optic lights for the front. I wanted to use it for all the lights but I couldn't make it work with the limited space inside. Ended up using L.E.D. s for all the others.

The controller ports took some pretty extensive cutting and sanding to make them fit properly.
