I have a pimoroni displayoton setup so that it extracts the emulator and game via runcommand (i.e. on game launch). It also displays system information stuff. It's on my github

The battery lasts about 8 hours with the sound blasting and it's great for playing games that require a keyboard/mouse especially Brutal Doom!
