It just has to be done... I have just started making a wooden hand held games console with spent brass bullet casings as buttons... I’m excited to see how this turns out and eager for anyone with ideas to submit them ... many minds make the best decisions...
First video of build process below... I think I’m going to change out from 18650 laptop batteries to iPad 7” battery...

Oooh! Someone wrote back! ... I made some great progress this weekend! ... Wood is routed by hand and the screen is fitted... really looking great now! ... super excited! ... Also... I finished my barcade arcade machine ...

Little update for those that are interested to see progress on the wooden handheld games console with brass bullet buttons... I am fitting the electronics starting now... there are a lot of good little modular PCBs out there... I have chosen an iPad battery as the power supply! ... anyway... here it is...

Made some good progress, hope to have another video release this weekend time permitting... doing the fiddly soldering stuff now... Ugggh!

This is turning out awesome... I’ve done some of the wiring and am happy the buttons work, I have now fitted a misfile Switch ... looking forward to actually being able to play some games soon!
