HardWood BrassBulletButtons Pi3 Handheld Gaming

Post by DubiousEngineering » Sun Feb 25, 2018 2:11 am

It just has to be done... I have just started making a wooden hand held games console with spent brass bullet casings as buttons... I’m excited to see how this turns out and eager for anyone with ideas to submit them ... many minds make the best decisions...

First video of build process below... I think I’m going to change out from 18650 laptop batteries to iPad 7” battery...

Little update for those that are interested to see progress on the wooden handheld games console with brass bullet buttons... I am fitting the electronics starting now... there are a lot of good little modular PCBs out there... I have chosen an iPad battery as the power supply! ... anyway... here it is...

This is turning out awesome... I’ve done some of the wiring and am happy the buttons work, I have now fitted a misfile Switch ... looking forward to actually being able to play some games soon!

I still can’t get the hang of these tags though! .... WTF!
