I wil add all the information i've got about screens on the weekend.
Hi, I don't know if this has been discussed before. Would be usefull if everyone could share the config settings for LCD. Not only the HW
but also the best settings. Correct me if I'm wrong, but some LCDs, even with same specs can have different settings on config.txt

Does it make any sense to you? Share your thoughts about this.

Cheers.

I don't think this will help, since i've got 3 displays of the exact same kind but had to adjust the overscan and stuff on all three differently.

Exactly, that was my point. My idea is, to everyone share all info from the LCD. For ex. I would share the HW, some pictures, PN or SN, the buyer and the config.txt and have a database with that.
If anyone bought the same LCD they could download the config.txt and use as a base.

Well.. that was only an idea...

But that would be a lot of work and from my experience it is hard enough to get more than the website they bought it on and a picture form most of the users here :)
And the base would be the default settings, since, as you already said yourself, every display has different settings, even if it is the exact same display. So a txt with those settings would not make any sense, let alone collecting all the data from the users here.

Yeah, agree with you. Lets keep it simple.
