Maybe I'm missing something, but a lot of what's being discussed here is already offered.

Go to your roms, press "select" on your GBZ and you have the ability to choose what letter you want to skip to.

Otherwise pressing the "L" or "R" buttons skips up and down through sections of the rom list.

I realize I'm a bit late to the party, however I hope this helps somebody. :)

I know I'm necrobumping but a late reply is better than none.
I think the frustration here is that with 1k+ ROMs to sift through even having sort by first letter and pgup and pgdown buttons can still be tedious especially when you have international versions and rom hacks added in. @Popcorn did you ever get a script written to automatically build and sort a working filestructure like tofu said?

One thing that is incredibly frustrating is trying to go through thousands of ROMs to find the ones that you want.
I'm new to this, so forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question. How do u get thousands of ROMs? I'm over here doing one at a time. Fml

I have a lot of ROMs and my way of selecting ROMs is of making a folder with the name of consoles. I make a folder named SNES ROMs and I put all my favourite SNES ROMs in that folder.
