Kodi wont work, freezes on startup

I have a Dualshock 4 connected via a micro usb cable, Wifi adapter, and a wireless keyboard dongle connected too. When I startup Kodi, it shows the blue bubbles splashscreen, and then gets stuck in a loop where the splashscreen turns off after a while, then back on, and repeat.
