Downloading roms

Post by BigDaddy » Tue Nov 22, 2016 11:05 pm

This is my first project ever with the raspberry Pi zero. I'm a huge noob when it comes to computer stuff. So sorry for the noob ? coming up. I'm going to build my first GBZ and I have just bought the aio board from kite.( which look amazing). Building the GBZ isn't the problem I'm a reasonable handy man. My problem is I don't know how to download roms for games. I have watched videos on how to transfer roms but I can't find how and were to get them from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again sorry for the noob ?. P.S. Love the work you all do for this site and all the parts being made and sold so people like me can enjoy projects and games of old.

It's theoretically illegal to own ROM if you do not own the physical copy of the game. However just google (for example) Super mario ROM game boy and see what it gives. Use GAMENAME+ROM+PLATFORM and you will find almost everything you need with google
