Is 32gb SD card enough for Retropi up to SNES?

I am building a Retro Pi system (my first one) with a Rasberry Pi 3.

If I want to have emulators for NES, SNES, (Maybe some N64), Genesis, and older stuff like atari would a 32 GB SD card be enough?

I do not plan on any CD or DVD games on this Retro Pi build.

Thanks.

16gb would be enough. The average SNES ROM is 1 - 2 MB. NES are 50 - 100 KB. Atari are 10 KB and under.

32 GB would give you enough room to load pretty much *every* Atari/NES/SNES/N64/Genesis/GG/GB/GBA/TG16/NGP/PSX/PSP/AppleII/Commodore game. But scrolling through that many titles would be a pain in the ass, and you'll never play most of them. 16GB is more than enough for a few hundred of each system

I have MAME2003, NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, Genesis.

Fitting all the ROMs on a 32GB is no problem. Also including video previews is just barely too much for a 32GB (using the sselph scraper vids, and EmuMovies to fill in the missing systems). I had to delete quite a few previews videos to fit everything on a 32GB. I suppose I could've also found a program to shrink down the videos.

That's not quite true. It should indeed be plenty for games from the older cartridge-based systems, but PSX games tend to be CD-sized, so around 700 MB is not uncommon (and then there's the multi-disk games). Similarly, PSP UMDs hold a max of something like 1.3 GB, although many games are smaller. Point is, PlayStation games do take up significant amounts of space, especially compared to SNES / GBA ROMs.
