Mounting a USB Drive to view over Network

Post by WoodMill » Sat Apr 08, 2017 8:59 am

I'm having a heck of a time getting the USB drive connected to my RPi to be viewed as a shared drive on my PC.

I had this working before, then did a fresh install of RetroPie, and now I can't figure it out.

Mainly this drive is a drive to hold my ripped BluRays for Kodi.

What am I missing? Samba is turned on, I pretty sure. I have no memory of how I set it up before, which makes me think it was super easy.

Ok. Finally figured it out. I was following these directions, and couldn't edit the files. I had to change the editor from"vi" to "nano."
