Once the PP20 HDMI is soldered to P2 of the GPIO, what would happen if I also plug a usb power supply? With a regular HDMI cable, no voltage inserter? Is there a risk of frying the HDMI at the TV, since way more than 50ma is going to get right into it?

EDIT: I think I just answered myself: the diode. That's why there is a diode and not a simple jumper. So after the pins are soldered, the voltage inserter will always be needed.

I've recently built this and for the most part it's working great. However when I managed to connect a bluetooth keyboard to the pi 0 w using this setup it became unstable and would reboot every 1-3 minutes until the sd card eventually became unstable and I had to start from scratch.

Does anyone have any tips for avoiding or diagnosing what might have caused the issue? I thought maybe the power source was too low so I tried using an old iPad plug which output 2.4A but that didn't change anything. Could a bad solder joint be causing the issue?

I have two questions:
1. Does anyone from europe (ideally germany) have an alternative list of suppliers for the parts?
and 2. a question @prerunnerseth :how long does the delivery to germany approximately take?
I'm planing on giving it a away as a gift and of course I'm way behind schedule. :)

will this power hdmi adaptor work? It's a fraction of the cost and has no specs so that has me concerned. https://www.ebay.com/itm/371824763217

The PRS-Tech SNES-Zero works great through the HDMI on a TV; but I would also like to connect it to a VGA computer monitor from time to time. I tried the Tendak HDMI to VGA adaptor (link below) but no picture or audio would go through.

Has anyone else found an adaptor to use the PRS-Tech SNES-Zero through the VGA port on a computer monitor?

Is it possible that VGA adapter is not supplying enough power to the pi through HDMI?

I am still using the HDMI with USB Power adapter; so the Pi is still receiving power. The VGA adapter just won't transmit the data from the HDMI/USB adapter to the monitor. Maybe I had a bad adapter.

Just wanted to throw this out there, I didn't want to pay 20$ for the hdmi USB power adapter and got a 5$ one. It works fine.

I used a xacto knife and cut the one side so it came apart. It has a plastic casing inside which I removed part of. I then put the rubber piece i cut in half back over it and put a piece of electrical tape over it.
