How to wire up Arduino?

Post by FreddyMro » Tue Dec 27, 2016 2:42 pm

Hi,

This is the first time I work with PCB's and stuff, so I'm pretty much a newbie.
I purchased the Arduino Pro Micro instead of the Teensy LC. I have a few questions:

1) How do I connect the board via USB-cables (red, black, green, white) in the GBZ? Which pins on the board do I have to use for that?
2) There are 3 ground-pins on the board. Which do I have to use for what?
3) Is there anything else, I have to keep in mind when setting the hardware up? (Software is already flashed on the Arduino)

Here's a picture of the board.

Thank you in advance!
Freddy

Okay I found one solution that works for me. I found an old USB-cable and got something like this from it:

Following this guide referring to the male plug,

I soldered the cables to it. Thus I use the Micro-USB port (there's no other easy solution) what saves space compared to a normal USB-cable.
