So....
Built a gbz... was kind of in a hurry but had researched tons and knew in general what I was doing.
(i'll make a show off thread later)
One thing that struck me odd, my Banggood Power supply didn't output power unless i shorted two pins on a 6pin ic. (will update tommorow with pictures) So I soldered a tact-momentary switch to enable it to actually turn on.
Things I need confirmed:
Is it correct that if you supply voltage in (ie hooked up to a usb power supply) this board is "always on" unless wired with a switch like a spst/dpst etc?
Is it normal to have voltage bleed thru? (my pro micro leds are dimly lit even when rpi is shutdown thru menu)
When no external charger is connected, shouldn't my battery power the setup?
I only get the bleed thru effect described above when 5v is connected to the power input.
I must have messed something up when desoldering the mini and full sized usb ports.
I have a spare at work, I guess I can check it but it'd be nice if someone could confirm this.

Re: Banggod Power supply question.
Got it working! Turns out I just got a bad power supply and replaced it
