BW Screen Fuzziness Issue

Post by Monti55 » Sun Feb 26, 2017 6:10 pm

I have been trying to get my BW screen working with my raspberry pi 3 but there are artifacts on the screen that I can't identify the cause of. I see other people on the forum having no issues with their screen after the 5v mod. I think I did the 5v mod right but I can't be sure. If anyone has any insite on my problem please say something. Thank you!!

Your 5v mod is on the 3rd pin of that chip. Mine is on the second pin. Let me try switching the pins and I'll report back tomorrow. Thanks!

I just switched the wires and I go it to work. The visual problems are gone and it got rid of the hissing sounds that was also there. Thank you so much!
