Why should I use a PRS-Tech Board?

Hello dear community!

this is my first post in that forum, so be gentle if it is not the right place for it :)

I just ordered a Raspberry Pi Zero Kit (it is my first Pi), because I want to start yet another Snes Zero Project.
While looking around in the Internet I saw a bunch of tutorials that used the PRS-Tech Board.
What kind of advantage does that give me? As far as I understand it is not that hard to solder the cabels from the original SNES-Board to the GPIO-Pins, is that correct?
It would be nice if somebody could help me out with that one :)

Kind regards from Germany

The prs board is almost ready to go, you won’t need to bother too much with it.
That’s the difference. Instead of hacking an existing controller, you can make it easier, faster, cleaner...

It’s up to you whether you want to spend money and save time for a clear build or you save money and build it a bit harder with a (inner) result a bit less appealing

Ah, okay, that explains a lot. So I guess i will start with the original internals and might try a board later :)

Merci beaucoup, mais je ne peux pas parler beaucoup de francais :P
