That is pretty cool. I read that it had 30 games preinstalled, but I didn't see anything that made it clear. Does it eat old NES cartridges?

It's basically just one of those "plug n play" consoles that were abnormally popular a few years ago because all the casual parents ate them up. Doesn't use cartridges, but it does output through HDMI. Wonder what's on the inside cuz if you can put a raspberry pi in there and get a better controller suddenly you have something really cool...

Mini Nintendo Entertainment System

I jumped with joy when I read this article this morning, and can't wait for it to be released!

Just looking at it, with the HDMI-out, AC-in, Power and Reset buttons, this case would make for the perfect home console Emulation Station! I'm sure you could fit a Pi 2/3 in there, if not something bigger and more powerful, and replace the classic controller ports with USB ports for controllers!

We shall see come November, I'll probably get one and open it up out of curiosity, then maybe wait until broken ones are put up on eBay to modify :D

Yup, my brain has been tinkering with ideas since I saw this. Oh great, another emulation box. My wife will be thrilled! :D
"Look at all the potential that these new computers have!"
"What are you going to do with it?"
"Same thing we did with the last one, make a new emulation station"

LOL! It has just been released and yet you folks are already thinking of how to mod and get emulation on it. At least play on it for a while before removing the guts. Besides, that's a $60 case we're talking here.
