Safest way to solder multiple wires to one point?
Safest way to solder multiple wires to one point?
What is the safest/best way to solder all of my ground (or power wires) wires to a single point on a board? Use a distribution joint to a single wire, then solder that wire to the board?

You could do that yes but maybe use a board like @Wermy did in his videos. I was thinking of making such a board and put it on OSHPark so it can useful for everyone and is one sided so no worries of shorting anything on the underside.a3k4 wrote:What is the safest/best way to solder all of my ground (or power wires) wires to a single point on a board? Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Good idea! This is where @Wermy talks about using a prototyping board. I found these snappable protoboards on Sparkfun which are pretty neat but expensive, also Banggood has a bunch of options.Helder wrote:You could do that yes but maybe use a board like @Wermy did in his videos.
