Solid work. What did you use for you A, B, X, Y buttons?
Edit: I see it now on page 1. Don't remember seeing that when I first visited the build.
Love your ingenuity!

If you get the battery monitor going with the joystick I can whip up a pcb to accommodate the stick (will need some testing of course).

Re: MintyPi with PSP joystick, stereo jack and USB port
I'll work on the script for the joystick and battery monitor during Xmas vacation, if my kid lets me play with it
Thanks for all the help and excellent ideas. I enjoyed a lot building this.
Re: MintyPi with PSP joystick, stereo jack and USB port
I've used 30AWG but I would recommend the ones in the main forum with silicon cover not this ones.
Re: MintyPi with PSP joystick, stereo jack and USB port
Hi,I have the same usb splitter,it works fine on windows with usb sound card and keyboard at same time but when I disconnect it from pc and try it on rpi zero, keyboard not works and so can't execute "lsusb" to check if sound card is recognized or not.
The only thing that works on rpi is an usb pendrive(I'm sure because activity led blinks and rpi writes subfolders into retropie folder)
Same wiring,same all,on windows works perfect,on raspberry don't works!
(Tested both with 2A psu and battery+bangood power boost)
Individually tested one per time (without hub) on raspberry usb port:keyboard works and also soundcard works.
Any hint?
Thanks

i've bought several of these, and they do work well....
(but i've had the odd one that was a bit of a dud, you get what you pay for... there only a couple of $)
NB: its not all lost, you have a spare splitter for your PC
